So the year has just started and I just wanted to say one thing I am already thankful for. God has given me a second chance at college. Two years ago I messed up by not really caring about college. After two semesters I ended up having to sit out for two years. Now within that two years all I have been doing is working and not doing a job that I would want to do for my career. Now after that I have figured up that I am going to have to come up with $3,000 roughly. In hindsight I wish I would have taken classes more seriously. I still have my GI Bill which pays for me a four year degree. So your probably thinking: "Hey if you still have the GI Bill, then are not your classes taken care of?" Well that's the catch, if I fail any class then I have to pay to retake it. And the last drawback to getting back in is that I can only take seven hours worth of classes a semester until I get my GPA back to a 2.0.
Anyways I am still very thankful that God gave me a second chance at this college thing again. I just thought about how this is a lesson not only to me but to people who read this. This is a perfect example that when we ourselves try to do things on our own then we just wind up messing things up. The only way things can work out is if you let God do it His way only then will we all truly succeed!
